Prayer & Bible Study

Prayer Meeting for us is a ‘coming together in one place” where shared faith brings an ever increasing awareness of God’s presence in our lives and the lives of all men.

Prayer is a blessing and a privilege. It can best be understood when we ask the question, “How do you feel, how do you respond when someone says, ‘ I am praying you through your challenges right now’?”. Hopefully people are comforted, strengthened and grateful. Everybody values support. Prayer, however, truly comes into its own when we hear Jesus’ promise, “Come unto me, all you who are burdened and I will give you rest……..I have prayed for you”. That is what He does. He watches our every step and waits to hear our voice. ” More than the air I breathe, more than the song I sing, more than anything, – I need You, O Lord.”

Such is the essence of prayer and the greatest of all blessings, it is why our church meets to pray to our Lord and Father…..every Thursday evening.
